Social Impact Loans are large loans for affordable and supportive housing developers, registered charities, and social enterprises. These loans allow the Foundation’s unrestricted assets to create positive change in the community on a large scale.
Recognizes individuals or groups working in charity sector with funding for professional development.
Following the 2019 Woodman Avenue gas line explosionin Old East Village (OEV) in London, the Woodman Relief Fund fund was established at Libro to support individuals and households impacted by the incident.

London Community Foundation was proud to support 33 charities and non-profits in London and Middlesex in 2023/2024 to help them adapt to the long-term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The funding, totalling $1.3 million, helped organizations improve the efficacy, accessibility, and sustainability of the essential community services that they provide.

Regional HIV/AIDS Connection is using their $67,000, one-year Community Vitality grant to collaborate with grassroots groups and community leaders to support the well-being of London’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community members, especially people disproportionately impacted by systemic oppression, by creating new joy-centred spaces, opportunities, and resources that provide connection, affirmation, and visibility. These robust community development efforts will focus on providing vibrant and diverse social gatherings, investing in local 2SLGBTQIA+ talent, and fostering future sustainability through volunteer engagement, project impact evaluation, and mentorship opportunities.

London Community Foundation (LCF) in partnership with the Lawson Foundation announced its creation of the LCF COVID-19 Response Fund – a collaborative effort to support our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Led by LCF with an initial contribution of $300,000, matched by the Lawson Foundation by way of their Miggsie Fund, through which they have been supporting the London community since 2005, the $600,000 fund will provide a central location for philanthropists, corporations, individuals and families to support immediate needs in our community that have emerged as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
