Bursary Value
The Rainbow Youth Leadership Bursary honours a high school student for accomplishments and contributions in fostering belonging, equity, and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, and two-spirit people, or any community group represented under the diverse rainbow banner in Elgin, Oxford, and Middlesex Counties, including the City of London and neighbouring First Nations.
The chosen recipients will receive a $500 bursary to a Canadian post-secondary institution for their education. The opportunity to be nominated is not exclusive to those who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals.

Application Information
To be eligible for the bursary, applicants must:
- Be a high school student in Elgin, Oxford, or Middlesex County, including the City of London and neighbouring First Nations.
- Be on track to graduate in the current academic year.
Up to two recipients are selected each year, by London Community Foundation’s selection committee, made up of community members involved with the Foundation that represent a wide range of demographics and lived experiences.
