About The Fund

A donor-advised fund held at London Community Foundation, the Paul Seed Fund focuses on providing support to people in the London arts community. The Fund will boost live music performances in London by creating connections and opportunities for musicians, venues, and audiences coordinated through the London Arts Council and the London Music Office.

The London Arts Council (LAC) is an arts-services non-profit that works with public, private, and community partners to build and sustain awareness of, involvement in, and support for all artistic disciplines. LAC programs build community and encourage public activation in London and the surrounding First Nations.

The London Music Office (LMO), a division of Tourism London, exists to create conditions for the music industry to thrive and grow. The LMO is the connection point between the City of London and the Music Industry. LMO Also serves as the Focal Point for London’s UNESCO City of Music designation.

Paul Seed Fund Supports Museum London’s Musician-in-Residence Program

LONDON, ON: With the support of the Paul Seed Fund, held at London Community Foundation, Museum London is introducing its inaugural Musician-in-Residence program – celebrating the role of music in fostering connection, elevating local talent, and strengthening London’s identity as Canada’s only UNESCO City of Music. Acclaimed Canadian musician Shad, who grew up and started his career in London, will work with Museum London to expand programming, educational opportunities, and cultural experiences offered by the museum.

“Music has always been a personal passion of mine because of its ability to inspire and connect people. Live music is an essential part of what makes cities vibrant; creating shared experiences that bring people together and contributing to a thriving community. London has a proud history of nurturing exceptional talent, from emerging artists to internationally acclaimed artists like Shad. The Paul Seed Fund is proud to support this unique program in partnership with Museum London and to invest in the creation of music and events that will enrich London’s community for years to come.”
