Grant Summary: This project improves the services that Southwest Middlesex Health Centre provides to Indigenous patients. It includes timely access to mental health supports and foot care, and ensures all staff are trained in culturally safe health care so that Indigenous patients feel respected, safe, and represented while receiving care.

Grant Summary: Ontario Nature and Chippewas of the Thames First Nation will collaborate to improve climate resiliency, restore native habitat, educate the public and First Nations members on the environment, and foster cross-cultural knowledge sharing. This project enhances well-being by promoting stewardship and empowering individuals for a sustainable future.

Grant Summary: The Forest City Film Festival is expanding its Indigenous Program, Community Day, and Deep Dive Screenings. Doing so will deepen and transform our regional audience by supporting Indigenous cultures, connecting our various communities, and creating conversations around important local issues.

London Community Foundation was proud to support 33 charities and non-profits in London and Middlesex in 2023/2024 to help them adapt to the long-term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The funding, totalling $1.3 million, helped organizations improve the efficacy, accessibility, and sustainability of the essential community services that they provide.

London Community Foundation (LCF) in partnership with the Lawson Foundation announced its creation of the LCF COVID-19 Response Fund – a collaborative effort to support our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Led by LCF with an initial contribution of $300,000, matched by the Lawson Foundation by way of their Miggsie Fund, through which they have been supporting the London community since 2005, the $600,000 fund will provide a central location for philanthropists, corporations, individuals and families to support immediate needs in our community that have emerged as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
