Silvia Ventura

As Finance Analyst at London Community Foundation, Silvia oversees financial analysis, accounts payable, donation processing and gift receipting, and bank account monitoring. She also provides financial support and insight to teams across the Foundation.

Silvia serves as an ex-officio member of the Finance & Audit Committee and the Investment Committee, preparing the financial information that supports the committees’ oversight.

Silvia also manages the financial administration of the Foundation’s Social Impact Fund, tracking disbursements, repayments, and reconciliations, and reporting on the financing behind them.

Silvia joined the Foundation in early 2023, after moving to Canada from El Salvador with her family. She brings more than 15 years of experience with the United Nations, where she worked on national and local projects that reduced poverty, advanced inclusion, and improved living conditions for communities. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration and Management.

Having grown up in El Salvador and spent her career working alongside communities, Silvia brings a global perspective and a genuine empathy to the work the Foundation does close to home. Outside of work, she loves nature and enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new places.
