Diane Silva

As Director of Philanthropy at London Community Foundation, Diane is responsible for working closely with the Foundation's fundholders, assisting families and individuals achieve their philanthropic goals. 

A member of senior leadership team, Diane directs the Foundation’s philanthropy strategy, growing and stewarding its donors and fundholders and building collaborative partnerships across sectors to enrich the quality of life for everyone in London and Middlesex. During her 11-year tenure, Diane has significantly raised the Foundation’s profile and helped to support its growth from approximately $50 million to $125 million in endowment.

Diane is passionate about engaging donors through innovative giving tools, such as impact investing, and connecting and educating donors about the funding needs of equity-seeking groups in our community. Her commitment to stronger communities extends to her volunteering as Chair of the Board of Directors for Meals on Wheels.

Diane holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Western University. Prior to joining London Community Foundation, Diane began her career at Municipal Property Assessment Corporation where she was responsible for the London and Regional office’s Human Resources and Financial Services. She then served over eight years at the Richard Ivey School of Business holding progressive management positions in development, alumni relations as well as Executive Development where she worked with Fortune 500 companies and Ivey’s alumni.   

Outside of work and volunteering, Diane loves spending quality time with family and friends and enjoys staying active with a good game of tennis!
