We’ve entered the festive season! Read on to learn more about holiday giving, granting and LCF’s holiday hours.
End of Year Donations
We’d be thrilled to receive a gift from you at this special time of year. Donations received by LCF up until December 31, 2019 will be eligible for a 2019 charitable tax receipt.
A few things to note:
If you’re mailing your donation, please ensure the envelope is date stamped by Canada Post to reflect a 2019 date.
A gift can be made online, at any time, before the end of the year.
To make a gift of securities, please note that you need to initiate the share transfer by December 23. (LCF’s brokerage firm must receive the securities by electronic transfer, from your broker/investment advisor, by December 31.) Click here for the Share Transfer Authorization Form and instructions.
Fundholder Granting
If you’re a fundholder who wishes to make a grant, please note that any 2019 grants must be requested by December 31 and will get processed and mailed in January.

To allow our employees to spend more time with their families, we’ll be operating on reduced hours over the holidays:
Monday, Dec. 23: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Tuesday, Dec. 24: Closed
Wednesday, Dec. 25: Closed
Thursday, Dec. 26: Closed
Friday, Dec. 27: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Monday, Dec. 30: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Tuesday, Dec. 31: Closed
Wednesday, Jan 1: Closed
