London Community Foundation helps build a vital community by supporting local initiatives and organizations tackling our community’s most pressing issues. Thanks to our generous donors, we grant over $3 million into London and Middlesex each year! Supporting a wide range of causes, from the environment to the arts, we provide local charitable organizations with the funds they need to create positive change.


Funding Needs Registry

The Funding Needs Registry is where charities provide details about their charitable funding needs that LCF can consider for support beyond our formal grant programs, which includes sharing with our donors and fundholders for their granting consideration.

Acorn Fund for Youth

The Acorn Fund for Youth supports and provides funding for initiatives led by bright and eager young leaders in London and Middlesex.

London Endowment for Heritage

The London Endowment for Heritage Fund supports projects in London that conserve and promote awareness of our heritage in all the forms it takes.

Ken Fleet Choral Conducting Scholarship

The Ken Fleet Choral Conducting Scholarship is intended to provide professional development for an individual Ontario resident with formal music education currently studying choral conducting or planning to continue their studies in this field.

Green Economy London Project Grant

For members of Green Economy London only, this grant is for a sustainability project that impacts one or more of the following: GHG Emissions, Waste, Water, or Environmental Stewardship in their facility or fleet.

J. Allyn Taylor Community Service Award

The J. Allyn Taylor Community Service Award is presented to a student who exhibits outstanding service to, and is actively involved in leadership activities in, their community.

Pride London Festival Endowment Fund

The pride London Festival Endowment Fund supports activities that build inclusion, promote education, or develop awareness around sexual and gender diversity within the LGBT2Q+ communities and/or the broader population.

Maple Leaf Community Fund

Maple Leaf Community Fund grants support the capital-related needs of food security programs that promote dignity and build individual and community capacity.

Vital People Award

The Vital People award recognizes individuals working in the London and Middlesex charitable sector with funding for professional development.

London Middlesex Community Housing (LMCH) Housing Policy Research Award

London Community Foundation (LCF) and London and Middlesex Community Housing (LMHC) are pleased to partner on the 2019-20 LMCH Housing Policy Research Award. The goal of this scholarship competition is to support students undertaking graduate-level research on social housing in Canada.


Social Impact Fund


The Social Impact Fund turns donations into capital loans for community and non-profit groups pursuing affordable housing projects.


RBC Future Launch Community Challenge

Today’s problems need more than yesterday’s solutions. We need bold new thinking to help meet the challenges of the future. The RBC Future Launch Community Challenge is a call to action for youth, and an opportunity to bring young leaders to the decision-making table as we build strong and vibrant communities for the future.
