Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Fund

By Betsy Reilly, Susan Carlyle and Jeanne Smitiuch

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a community book-gifting program devoted to inspiring a love of reading in the hearts of children. Our mission is to instill a promote early literacy, increase school readiness, and increase parental engagement and bonding. Registered children, ages 0 to 5 years old, are mailed a high-quality, age-appropriate book monthly - free of charge to the family. These books foster family reading time, a love of books, and help boost early literacy.

Donate and Support a Child

You can help all children have access to the Imagination Library program. The cost of a good quality children's literature book that helps “build a reader” is just $3.85. That means your donations go a long way.

  • A $50 Donation ensures a child receives a book every month for a year

  • A $100 Donation ensures the child receives a book every month for two years

  • A $250 Donation gives the child access to the full five-year program

How it Works

The Dollywood Foundation covers the cost of shipping, the ordering database, and the fulfillment centre, while negotiating a very low cost with the publisher for beautifully bound children's books.

London Community Foundation is the conduit for our London affiliate’s fundraising and administration.
