Summary of Grants Made in Third Quarter of 2009
October 13, 2009 – The third quarter of 2009 saw London Community Foundation making 14 grants worth a total of $135,650.
Of this amount, $68,400 (3 grants) supported Community Foundation strategic initiatives in neighbourhood building; $8,000 (1 grant) supported urgent needs in the community; $32,250 (9 grants) supported a variety of programs and projects as directed by donors with Community Foundation funds; and $27,000 (1 grant) being the annual disbursement of a registered charity endowment fund.
The Foundation’s board of directors authorized the following grants between June 30 and September 30 2009.
