Mar. 15, 2011
(London ON)- Do you have an idea to improve London’s air quality and contribute to a healthy community? London Community Foundation is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 2011 Clean Air Challenge Program.
The Clean Air Challenge is a London Community Foundation grant program with the intent of progressing innovative ideas that will address air quality issues and strengthen the community. Initiatives may include any community design, product, service, or technology that contributes to improved air quality in the city of London and Middlesex. The goal of the program is to provide support to the successful candidate(s) while also generating learning opportunities about environmental programs and services for the community.
Our 2010 Vital Signs report showed that a healthy and sustainable environment is necessary for the wellbeing of our community, and London Community Foundation is proud to support local projects that confront and better London’s air quality issues.
The Clean Air Challenge is a three-stage application process. The first stage requires applicants to submit a summary or his/her idea by May 2nd at 4:30pm. Grants will be considered requesting between $1,000 and $100,000, with the total grant money award to not exceed $100,000.
