Community Foundation Launches New Grant Program to Support Change in London and Middlesex
May. 31, 2011
(London ON) - Do you have an idea that will change the way something is done, thought about, or made in London or Middlesex County? London Community Foundation is excited to announce the launch of our latest grant program, the Community Vitality Grant. The Foundation is looking for “game changing” ideas that have the potential to create positive returns for the community in one of the issue areas recognized in our 2010 Vital Signs Report.
The Community Vitality Grant consists of a two-stage application process. During the first stage, applicants are asked to submit a summary of their idea. The top three applications received will then be asked to participate in the second stage, where applicants will be invited to present a detailed proposal of their idea, based on guidelines provided by London Community Foundation. We will be looking at grant funding requests for projects and initiatives from $50,000 to $400,000. Multi year grants will also be considered as long as they do not exceed $400,000 in total.
The application deadline for Stage One proposals is July 29th, 2011 at 4:30pm.
