Using communication, education, & persuasion to manage organizational change

Jun. 10, 2012

Michelle Edwards has been working in Children’s Mental Health since 2003. In her role as program supervisor she ensures Craigwoods clients receive an excellent level of service that enhances their quality of life and strives to be respectful and cognizant of all aspects of diversity, while celebrating individual uniqueness.

Michelle’s goal is to learn, develop and hone the skills and strategies that will allow her to assist the people and agencies she is involved with in accepting, understanding, and eventually embracing the level of change being suggested in the transformation agenda.

With her Vital People Grant, Michelle will participate in studies relating to managing organizational change.  This skill acquisition will be beneficial for her in her management role, the agency leadership team and ultimately the clients that Craigwood serves.
